Using a Mobile Device Like the HTC Titan to Stay Entertained

The HTC Corporation or the High Tech Computer Corporation has launched a new phone that is making its own name in the industry, the HTC Titan. It is also known as HTC Eternity, HTC Bun yip, and HTC Ultimate. This phone offers a spectacular application that is not just useful but also entertaining.

First in line is its dimension, 131.5 x 70.7 x 9.9 mm and has a weight of 160 g. the first impression are: “Wow looks at that screen” and “wow look how big it is”. With the largest screen of any Windows Phone, the HTC TITAN lets you work big and play big. This feature makes you save money from purchasing your own tablet. It takes a standard-sized sim card. It has a 2g and 3g network. Its messaging has SMS (thread view), MMS, Email and push mail. It has also a radio that would enable you to listen to music during leisure time. The HTC Titan has two cameras’ the primary and the secondary.

It sports an 8-megapixel camera with 2.2 lens, dual LED flash, and BSI sensor. The camera is easy to use with a number of settings to help you get the most out of your shots. You do get controls over white balance, contrast, brightness, sharpness, saturation and metering. In terms of video capture you get 720p video recording and autofocus, although it is locked off once you start recording. There is a zoom, but this and all other controls are also locked off once you press the record button.

Once you are finished there are a number of sharing options, however you can't share it to video sites such as YouTube or Video for example. For internet coverage, in areas with 3G coverage, the HTC Titan can browse the internet with download speeds of up to 14.4 megabytes per second; this capability is the same as several other high end smart phones. HTC boosts a bunch of advancements and improvements including multitasking, photo and video capture, and threaded conversations that move with you from text to Facebook and back again. Games junkies will never get bored as a pile of game applications are readily available for a pick. Be entertained with Xbox LIVE gaming and Zune-powered music and videos.

For its battery power, you would expect the battery to last around 10 minutes. Thankfully that isn’t the case. With light weekend use we went a day and a half without the need to find power. In heavy use using services like Flux (an RSS reader), and Rowi (a Twitter client), plus email, phone calls, GPS and a bit of reading via the Kindle app, we got through to about10pm after an 8am start.

The battery saver feature which is a new application in Windows Phone Mango will help you greatly. You can also do reading through the e-books or watch your favourite movies in your big screen. They also offer the new HTC Titan accessories like the HTC Titan case that will protect that slim body of your phone and the HTC Titan screen protector that would protect your phone’s screen from those scratch and dust.
